S.L. van der Zanden, Managing Principal and CEO
S.L. van der Zanden is the Managing Principal of RE|SOLUTIONS and he serves as the court appointed receiver on all of the company’s receivership assignments. He brings over 25 years of commercial real estate experience helping institutional, corporate, and private clients overcome challenges and capitalize on nearly $2 billion in opportunities. His prior experience includes utilizing a unique sealed-bid property sales process for institutional clients; management of a 1.6MM s.f. portfolio with 22 assets; turnaround of REO assets; and acquisition & development work for VMS Realty.
  Brian Goldman, Principal and COO
Brian Goldman leads all operations, valuation, marketing and business development activities. He brings over 14 years as a commercial real estate lender with John Hancock Financial Services where he originated mortgages and managed its Midwest portfolio. Activities also included workout restructuring and resolution of non-performing loans.
  Tom Sikoral, Senior Manager
With over 18 years of management experience and a proven ability to drive dramatic improvements in revenues, profits and consumer satisfaction, Tom Sikoral is an asset to the RE|SOLUTIONS team. Tom is responsible for the overall management and coordination of operations at The Glen Town Center in Glenview, Illinois.  Previously, he served as General Manager of Westfield’s Old Orchard and North Bridge, two of the largest and most prestigous malls in Chicago.
Anthony McAndrew, Manager
Anthony McAndrew is a Manager with RE|SOLUTIONS and acts as the direct contact for day-to-day operations at many of the properties in our portfolio. He currently oversees operations at multi-family, retail, and industrial properties and is involved in analysis, budgeting, and valuation activities. He is a recent grad with distinction from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business with an MBA concentrated in Real Estate Finance and Investment.

Dale Vanderlaan, President, Realogic
Dale Vanderlaan’s background includes a combination of financial, operational and transactional experience utilized in the acquisition, financing, asset/property management and disposition of a property or portfolio. Dale’s specific expertise includes: valutaion, financial analysis and underwriting, lease abstracting, strategic advisory and training.
Harold “Skip” Perry
With over 38 years of experience, Skip Perry has been involved in a variety of assignments including: debtor/creditor bankruptcy advisory; loan restructuring; fairness opinions; buy/sell side due diligence for private equity funds and corporate clients; valuation for financial reporting and tax purposes; corporate real estate portfolio optimization studies; capital markets including asset dispositions, monetization strategies and structuring sale/leasebacks; and litigation support services including expert testimony.
Anne Voshel, Principal, AVA Consultants
Anne Voshel offers clients 22 years of construction and development management experience, with a particular emphasis on historic preservation, corporate facilities, and institutional buildings. During her career, Ms. Voshel has been responsible for more than 16 million square feet of projects valued at over $1 billion.
Larry Lund, Principal, Real Estate Planning Group
Larry Lund has over 35 years of real estate experience in commercial real estate analysis, market assessment, feasibility studies, appraisal, zoning analysis, conceptual planning, and asset positioning. His experience focuses on retail, office, and mixed-use developments. He has operated his own company for over 20 years specializing in working with retail tenants, developers, and municipalities providing consulting services designed to help them reduce risk by understanding the market metrics needed for successful development.

Bill Chopp, Regional Director, Hines
Bill Chopp is the Regional Director of the Office Property Management Division, with direct oversight of all staff and operations for all office buildings within the portfolio. Currently, Bill Chopp is a Senior Regional Officer with Hines and is responsible for oversight of the property and engineering management group of its Midwest, Southeast and Canada Regions representing over 38 million sq. ft. of Class A properties. Assigned assets include the Wells Fargo Center (1.2 million sq. ft.), U.S. Bank Plaza (1.8 million sq. ft.), and Fifty South Sixth (1.05 million sq. ft.). Chopp’s specific expertise includes property start-up, property acquisition, physical asset review as well as financial underwriting.
Gary Greenfield, Partner, Metro CRE
Gary Greenfield brings over 25 years of commercial real estate leasing experience to the RE|SOLUTIONS team. Such retail giants as Marshall’s, Staples, Best Buy, TJ Maxx, and Lowe’s Home Improvement are among the retailers he has represented. Greenfield’s extensive background in tenant representation, product leasing, property disposition and investment sales enables the RE|Solutions to service a wide array of retail clients. Gary Greenfield has received numerous awards for his work throughout metropolitan Chicago.
Matt Fenster, Leasing and Business Develpment Manager, Etkin
Matthew Fenster has been involved in real estate development, operations, leasing and management for more than 20 years. He has been responsible for the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, and management of over 3 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail space in the Midwest.  Prior to joining Etkin, Matthew ran Paragon, a Detroit area full service real estate firm he founded in 1998, which specialized in investment, development and advising institutional clients on repositioning of assets.

Chad Firsel, President, Quantum Real Estate Advisors
Chad Firsel is President and Founder of Quantum Real Estate Advisors, Inc. Previously, Chad created and managed the investment services practice at Baum Realty, Inc and also created and served as managing director of NAI Hiffman’s investment services group.  Utilizing his knowledge of all aspects of the industry including development, legal processes and financing strategy, Chad’s holistic vision of commercial real estate has guided closings of roughly $1 billion of retail, industrial and office product.
Doug Imber, President, Essex Realty
Doug Imber is co-founder and President of Essex Realty Group, Inc. He has been involved in nearly $1 billion of investment real estate transactions throughout his 20 year career and has represented many of Chicago’s most prominent real estate companies and lending institutions. In addition, Doug is the general partner of more than 2,000 apartment units throughout the Midwest.
Adam Freeman, Principal, Century 21 Affiliated
Adam Freeman is a Principal of Century 21 Affiliated Commercial Investment Sales where he is actively involved in all transactions and business operations. Adam’s primary responsibilities include sourcing new sales opportunities and handling day to day management of the business. Throughout his career in commercial real estate, investment banking and private equity, Adam has successfully sourced, structured, acquired and sold in excess of $1 billion of total transaction volume.
Matthew Arminio, Associate, Century 21 Affiliated
Matthew Arminio is an Associate with Century 21 Affiliated Commercial Investment Sales where he is actively involved in all aspects of the sales process. Matt’s primary responsibilities include the evaluating, underwriting and marketing of all opportunities. Additionally, Matt is responsible for coordinating and managing the sales process with RE Solutions Investment Sales brokers.
Mark Raccuia, Managing Director, The Energy Exchange
Mark Raccuia is a 20 year veteran of the commercial real estate business  with expertise in auctions and gas station and convenience store investment sales.  He has completed over 2,500 gas station/c-store transactions totaling more than $900 million across 41 states.
  Phil Boyd, Managing Director, The Energy Exchange
Phil Boyd founded The Energy Exchange in July 2003, a commercial real estate brokerage company specializing in the sale of service stations and convenience stores nationwide.  The Energy Exchange has sold more than $250 million worth of operating and closed c-stores and gas stations for major corporations, mid-size distributors and individual owner operators. Phil’s current lifetime sales volume is approaching the $750 million milestone.
